The story so far
When it comes to San Diego culture, it can best bee summed up in three words; beaches, beers, burritos. It's hard to think of anything more quintessentially San Diegan than a California burrito in one hand and a cold beer in the other. The love for the Mexican food in this city, rivals that of New York and pizza or Philly and the cheesesteak. It was out of this love that The Burrito Bros was born.Â
As a native of America's finest city, my adolescence was filled with sandy weekends and boardwalk taco shops. In college I spent more late nights than I can stand to remember fighting my way through the 2AM rush at the shop closest to campus. It wasn't until I moved away form San Diego for the first time that I realized what I had left behind. Â
This is more than just a food blog. This is an homage to the city I love; a love song to every taco stand and 24 hour shop attached to a Valero gas station. A snapshot of a town told through some of the best food around. So thank you so much for joining me,  I'm so excited to share my love of this city and this food with you all, and I hope you are too.
